I get calls from this company nearly every day. They begin by saying 'Don't hang up. This is not a sales call. The FBI......' at which point I always hang up. Don't know what comes next. Finally learned how to block calls, but most of these companies each call from many different numbers. Saying it isn't a sales call, does it make it NOT a telemarketer. I believe this one sells security systems. It is just so disruptive to get 5 or 6 different sales calls durring the day. I work from home and have to disconnect from my work each time and then reconnect. I have called the proper department in the Federal Government about this particular caller and several others. Even though I am on the do-not-call list and also even though the government takes all my information each time, there ultimate answer is; 'there is nothing we can do other than we suggest just hanging up.'. I am guessing they must not get many of these calls at their homes. For myself, I am nearly at my wits end. If you dial the number back you get an automated system that requires you to press many menus and enter your 10-digit number. I have heard about scams that can allow you phone to be used by others with financial impact upon the phone owner. They say it will take 72 hours to remove the number. I have never been willing to input all the digits and numbers they require.
