These people have been calling me for months and not leaving a message, either. I called them back and a recorded message from someone named "LISA" says you have a chance to redeem $100 to various stores. You can either press "1" for "Do not Call" or "2" to redeem. I pressed "2" just to see what would happen. They told me to wait for an operator. I immediately hung up as I obviously didn't want to give these people any personal info.
But then called ANOTHER number that had been also leaving multiple hang-ups and ALSO calling around 8 or 9pm my time PST so I called IT and got the EXACT SAME MESSAGE! So THIS time I pressed "1" for DO NOT CALL and waited for an operator who claimed she hadn't been calling me at all and didn't know what I'd been talking about. It was true, I called her on a different number than they'd been calling me on. She claimed she could only delete the number they'd been using. I said that was ridiculous and gave her the number they'd been calling me on. She took it but don't think she did anything with it.

I then called back the 1st number, 401-239-3545 and it answered for a personal number for a guy James Pace. Clearly a Dummy acct. So then I called back the 2nd number again 409-209-7986 and got these people again with the same voice mail: "Hi, this is Lisa. You're entitled to a $100 gift certificate for having visited several of our websites" or the like. "If you'd like to redeem the $100 pls press 2; if you'd like to be on our Do not Call list please press !' or the opposite. So I spoke w/ "LaToya" and explained what I'd just done and I asked why they haven't left me or ALL THESE OTHER PEOPLE WHO HAVE LEFT MESSAGES ON LINE FOR MONTHS? And she claimed they're not permitted to do so, which is a crock, bec. I've been left many similar messages for rewards from multiple companies in the past.

Unlike the first call I made where the agent claimed she could only take me off the list where she had my original number, this agent didn't hesitate to say she could take me off both numbers. I said this better be true for ALL the people you've been harassing in droves for well over a year, now. We'll see what happens. But at least we all now have an answer as to who is at two of these scamming, secretive numbers. Good luck to everyone!
