yesi i just recieved the same call. Did anything happen? I been reading blogs online and this concerns me now because previously in the past i have made two differnt payments with another company regarding the same account and have paid at least 400 dollars on a balance of 600. So when he called me I advised why is the balance the same if i have made payments. Threatened me that he was going to sent court appointed papers to my county and have me arrested and with a felony on the account. Advised i can only get family and friends to pay within the nxt hour and if not they will send someone to arrest me. Of course it scared me due to felony and working in the banking industry but honestlly i have a friend who took out MULTIPLE LOANS and nothing has never happened besides calls and also i was informed that you can request for them to send proof of alleged debbt and if they dont oblige or threatens that it will occur once you are picked up report this. This is a FDCPA act and it is your right.
