After exploring online loans (which I did not pursue), I received a threatening phone call from some woman with an accent saying that this was her last phone call to me, that I had to respond by the end of the day to an official investigation that was underway via some attorney's office. If I did not return their call, they would have me arrested on Mon morning and escorted to court. Charges would be filed against me. They had my place of employment - a school district - and if I did not respond, they would file charges with the State Attorney's Office. No mention of money was left in the voice msg. I checked out the number online and found many complaints listed. Phone number was from Anaconda, Montana: 406-559-2491. My info was hacked from a loan site I visited. I reported the phone number to my local police dept due to the level of threat. Beware, a voice msg is not a legal procedure.

They knew how to bandy around threats that would scare anyone, including contact with my school employer. No mention of money was left in the voice message. I checked out the number online and found many complaints listed. Phone number was from Anaconda, Montana: 406-559-2491. Phone calls were threatening. My information must have been hacked from a loan site I visited. I reported the phone number to my local police department because of the level of threat. They assured me that any "investigation" would be conducted in writing and that a phone message was not a legal procedure. I think their having personal information about me startled me. I found out their number is a Cellco number dba Verizon; I will report to Verizon tomorrow. morning.
