408-459-3807. It's bad enough scammers call and try to wrestle money out of people. What really sucks is when they call at 8am on a Saturday morning.
Apparently a U.S. Magistrate is going to prosecute me for three charges. Unnamed, of course. Special Investigator Steve Martin called me to tell me.
Looking up who called me on the internet (I *do* love the internet), it's Ymax Communications Corp. in California. Or more likely some offshore company using them as a base.
Can anyone say, NO TRANS PACIFIC PARTNERSHIP??
Not surprisingly, I found they've been sued before - as I said, I *do* love the internet!

Caller type: Scammer
Caller: Special Investigator Steve Marting from the US Treasury
Company: YMax Corporation AKA Magic Jack
Number: 408-459-3807
I called the number back. "Eric Johnson" answered, said he represented the "U.S. Treasury". I said, "Really, well ... I want your badge number." There's this silence, then, "Badge number?" I said, "Yes, your badge number; all U.S. Treasury agents carry a badge; I want your badge number." His response, "F U". I said, "Really! So, you are admitting that you are a scammer; you have called my home repeatedly; you call here again I will report you to the appropriate authorities." Then I hung up. This was after the third call in 1.5 hours from these yo-yo's!
