Received Text on my business cell from this number directing me to a website
http://www.WNVAW7f.ml/?
Site requests info for a loan.
It had been bulk sent from a hijacked aol account. Then tried to automatically resend to my phonebook. Company phone has all my info stored to sim & is encrypted so they were unable to extract data for spoofing.
The scammers are getting more creative, dangerous and scary. I have switched one of my phones back to an old flip phone. If you can do so suggest going backwards to a dumb vs. Smart phone, the new spoof/spam crap they are using doesn't recognize older technology. Sometimes it's better going backwards to protect yourself. Identity theft is godawful too if it happens to you. My Wife, Son(minor) have had it happen. Taken 10 years, lot of money/aggravation still have problems.
Perfect credit ruined they even got around the credit security freezes we had to place on ourselves
