"Ed" responded to an add I had on Craigslist. He was immediately offering to fed ex a certified check. Something didn't seem right so I googled his number and found this post from "John Doe" who encountered the same thing. Thanks for the post!

"Ed" replied by a text message from a Craiglist ad. After I requested he send a cashiers check he said that his bank can only send a certified check and then asked for an account number to deposit it into. Any bank can issue a cashiers check. He is a scammer. BE AWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
