I received a couple of messages from this number saying it's the US Legal Investigation and the call is regarding my social security number. When I called the number back, I couldn't get through. I'm totally clueless as to why this caller needed to speak with me about my social security number.

I have received MANY phone calls from these people regarding a loan that was paid back last year. They demand a certain amount of money wired by Western Union and are rude and threatening. The company you are to wire the money to is NWV and there is lots of information on the internet about how they are scamming people. If you owe a company money contact them directly and make payment arrangements or whatever but don't give anything to these scammers. Companies sell your information and that is how this company got your social security number and such.
