Call received 12/10/2014 with an obvious Indian (from India) accent saying "This message is for [difficulty pronouncing my full name],hi [difficulty pronouncing my first name] Vraajala Dropha (my best interpretation of the voice as he says his name which I'm SURE IS NOT HIS REAL NAME,but the name either he was assigned OR that which he made up-STILL 100% UNTRUSTWORTHY!!!) calling from GE Capital Cancellations, your loan application application has been approved for up to $5,000.00 if you are still looking for the loan then just call me back as soon as possible so we can transfer your loan into your account itself. My callback number is 4-2-4-7-8-5-3-9-6-0 ,I repeat it it's 4-2-4-7-8-5-3-9-6-0.Thank you and have a blessed day. This was from an obvious Indian telemarketer calling center as there was a "beep" before the voice mail connected the call.Cal duration was 0:31 seconds.I did not nor will ever call back. It's listed on the CallerID as "Unknown number".Many of these Indian telemarketers call centers are now calling through some internet-based numbers,so even with blocking your number with *67 (a number blocking service many cellphone providers offer free of charge, but on some carriers this feature is not available and if in doubt then test it with someone else's phone you can do it with first then you'll know for sure) in front of the dialed number, they CAN AND DO SEE YOUR NUMBER ON THEIR SCREEN so they CAN know who you are IF you call back.If you can use a calling card to call them back they'll not know who you are and you can then ask who they are UNLESS you do a search FIRST to learn who they are just as you are now reading this and others.IT IS A 100% SCAM...THEY REQUIRE "advance payment" of "insurance fee" via a prepaid card that you load at a retail location providing them the numbers that they immediately transfer those funds AND YOU NEVER,EVER SEE THE PROMISED LOAN...UNLESS you pay them more as they give an excuse for not providing the agreed to loan not just once, but at least 2 times asking for a 3rd fee if you don't learn from the first 2 times,so it's a loss of all you pay=SCAM!!! P.S. THERE ARE NEVER,EVER any "refunds" because if you ask, they'll laugh and hang up and you'll be blocked from contacting them.
