Called my sister's house looking for my father. Said it was in regard to a case file. Tried calling back. No answer, no vice mail. Looked up name of law firm. Nonexistent.

Someone called my ex-roommate stating that I had borrowed money and that I had a lawsuit against me. I know who my creditors are as I keep track of my bills and don't know anyone I am in default of. Believe this is a scam. I called back and after a few rings stated "your party is not answering, please call back". If this was a legitimate law firm their name should have come on as this was just a few minutes after I talked to my friend.
