The caller stated that I was entitled to receive $3000.00 worth of groceries certificates to be redeemed anywhere in the USA at no cost to me. The catch was that I had to agree to receive a life saving emergency gadget that also was at no cost to me.I simply told him to not to call my number ever again because I was not born yesterday and nothing is for free, and I sure do not need that crap. I have received many calls for that gadget always under a different pitch.

Started out as a robo call stating something like this.
“For those sixty years old or older. You now qualify under the new National Senior Assistance Program to receive three thousand dollars in free groceries savings certificates. They can be used at over a hundred major grocery chains across the US. In addition to your three thousand dollars in savings certificate you'll receive a free emergency medical alert bracelet or necklace. This medical alert device is designed to save your life if you ever experience a fall or any other emergencies.”
The age given for me was 65, and it was $3,000 in coupons instead of certificates.I would also receive a free medical alert bracelet. I had to just stay on the line for the next available agent. They make it sound like a governmental idea, however it is a scam.
