This is a collection agency from Arizona. They are attempting to collect an 8 year old debt that I did not incur. They represent Lord and Taylor department store and a notice from them says the creditor is Oliphant Financial LLC. They use the numbers 480-747-9849 and 480-747-9883.

Similar situation - this company through other agencies similar Oliphant financial have posted false collections $138, $175, $177 for cell phone collections from TMobile, At&T Mobility, Packet8 and Sprint...NONE OF WHICH WERE MINE. Went through dispute processes unsuccessfully with Experian and Equifax, filed identity fraud police report, contacted Attorney Generals in each collection agency and credit bureau states and finally got them permanently removed from my record - took three months and my credit scores dipped >100 pts. This is not identity theft, it is identity fraud...where collection agency coalitions buy up bad debts and try to hang on innocent consumers hoping we'll settle to end the ordeal. This practice must be stopped.
