Just received a phone call from 504-555-0136 about my computer. The person (who spoke marginal English, at best) claimed that he detected something wrong with Windows, and he needed to fix it. I knew he was lying because 1) I use Linux, and 2) my computer wasn't even turned on.
This is an obvious scam, and should be reported to the police. I wouldn't be surprised if the scammers were spoofing the number, too.
