This is a company illegally disregarding the National Do-Not-Call Registry, cold-calling to get info on your mortgage and feed it to other mortgage brokers. Sounds like they are WAAAAYY off-shore, so not too concerned with American laws. However, after I wasted their time by giving bogus info, Quicken Loans called me about an hour later. I then talked to them for awhile before mentioning that they are using a service that is breaking the law, which implies their company in the illegality. I filed a complaint ("Unethical Sales Practices") with the BBB of Detroit, where their main office is located. Unfortunately, the DNCR has no teeth and some less-than-ethical companies are attempting to do an end-run around it, so I'm committed to hurting them where it hurts - stay tuned...
