Same scam from 509 588-7558for me today. IRS would never call and leave a terse message threatening a lawsuit, and certainly not from a 509 area code in Benton Washington! Those guys are idiots. Still, the IRS has made a name for itself by having a reputation of intimidation and bullying so I am sure people do get concerned. Just know the IRS would never contact anyone this way. First a letter.....unless you are already on the run from them and then all bets are off.
