Received a call from a scammer about a fake Publishers Clearing House Sweepstakes win. Supposed, we won nearly 1/2 million last week, but they can't deliver it until it clears customs (the money is coming from Costa Rica). They want us to pay a customs fee.. 1. PCH NEVER calls. 2. PCH is in New York, so customs is never involved. 3. PCH NEVER charges for their prizes. This is a scan known to PCH and they are doing what they can to catch these smooth talking crooks.

Message says they are going to have to deactivate my debit card unless I press # to talk to security department.
I pressed 0 instead & could not reach an operator.
When I called the number back from the caller ID it was the 1 for Spanish 2 for English & enter your card number.
Unable to reach a live rep.
I'll listen more closely tomorrow to see which credit union they are trying to spoof.
