Idiot called from this number, threatening legal action over a payday loan I never took. Hung up on him, and he called back. We did this dance 10 or 15 times, until I finally just let him sit silently on the phone. Late-night callback goes to voicemail for "AVRS" or some nonsense. Filed FTC complaint, and had the number blocked.
Similar situation happened about a year ago. They're using my maiden name, and states I've lived in before I moved here. Obviously a scam.
