Texted me from a Craiglist add wanting to send certified check and wait til it clears bank and then will pick up merchandise....SCAMMER!! I texted back saying cash only!

Texted me from an ad I have on CL... EXACT words were:
"can you accommodate paying you with a certified check and wait till it clears your bank before pick up is scheduled?"
I responded: "No, I'm sorry but there are too many scammers out there trying to use fake money orders and such. So no, Cash only."
Go figure..... Didn't hear back. I also reported them on CL under the section that says report abuse and something about police. Yeah, I reported them to the police. SCAMMER!!!! Good thing I didn't fall for it, it's a pretty expensive item
