Regarding this phone number, 540-890-4303, it is
not likely that this guy, Dennis Jeffrey, is
calling tons of people randomly to squeeze credit card information out of them. It is
likely, however, that this guy is yet another
victim of SCAMMERS who have begun to make it a
habit of hi-jacking (spoofing) the numbers and
identities of innocent people (and small businesses) to trick people into picking up
the phone (the idea is that people will be more
inclined to pick up the phone when they see
"Dennis Jeffrey" or "Child Care Center" in their
caller ID than "I AM A SCAMMER USING A SPOOFED
NUMBER". BBB warned in their 2014 article:
don't trust anything you see in your caller ID
anymore. Don't pick up. Don't return calls.
Just delete the call.

Sounds like a SCAM. Caller left a message regarding my credit card balance. Many other posters reporting calls from same number. Those who have picked up the phone were asked many questions about their credit card information. Caller ID says, "Dennis Jeffrey". When this phone number is googled, it comes up registered to a Jeffery Dennis, in Vinton, Va. If this guy is legitimate, he would not have to ask any questions about our credit cards in order to "lower the interest rates and/or balance". If he calls you, don't answer the phone but report him to your credit card company.
