*****DEFINITELY A SCAM*****

**Do Not Answer or Call Back**

I received a voicemail from this number on 10/13/16... It was clearly an automated message based on the voice and the fact that the message started mid-sentence... The first word was even almost cut, but you could still get that part. The message said:

"Grand Jury for a Federal Criminal Offense. This is the final attempt to reach you. To resolve this issue immediately and to speak with a Federal Agent call back number (567) 244-0052. I repeat (567) 244-0052. Thank You!"

Received a call from IRS who said it was a tax matter and this was my last chance before having to go to court or get arrested. I returned the call and was told I owe back taxes in excess of $4k. I was given a case number and a file number. She asked if I did this deliberatly or was it a mistake. It was hard to understand here as she had a very thick asian accent. I asked where she was calling from and she hung up.
This is a huge scam. IRS does not contact you by phone and you should never send any money to these scammers by credit card. Once you do that your card number will be used until you run out of credit. I am filing a report with the IRS also.
