I called the actual IRS after returning a call from this number. I was told that this is a scam targeting elderly people, they claim you owe the IRS money and want payment. Report them immediately too phishing@irs.gov

this number was a fraudulent call from a man who claimed to be the IRS.I decided to turn the tables on them, I called him repeatedly asking for things like his supervisor name of this agency his name asking him to expand upon the claim and just repeated over and over and over again.he finally admitted that it was a scam and agreed never to call me and my wife again if I stop harassing him. I think this tactic everytime I'm contacted by one of these jerks. I encourage everyone else to do the same. It's about time we fought back!
