I also recd such call repeatedly calling me violating fed tax laws and penalty of 4686.69 telling me that I have been prosecuted and fed judge had issued arrest warrant and the police will take me into custudy within a couple of hours and imprisonment of 6 months with penalty fine of 17645.00. They talk in different names with a lady accomplish. The voice resembled Mexican/Nigerian accent with slow talking. Now I have stopped answering calls from their number starting with 585 or 888...so exercise extreme caution when attending calls from these numbers and just ignore them and after few Unresponded calls, they will never call you again....

same happen to me....some guy with indian accent try to make you pay with money order.....is 100% scam...be aware

They call and pretend they are the IRS and that you owe money and that you have been avoiding paying it so now your accounts will be freezer and you will be arrested by local authorities within a certain time frame. Ours was 1.5 hours. They did not ask for personal information but I think they were waiting for me to go for their story and offer to pay my debt over the phone. I called the IRS to verify this procedure and there was no penalty or debt and they would in fact never conduct business in such a manner.
