I used quick and good moving about a year ago when a friend recommended them to me.I generally tend to forget my complaints/commendations of services after, say, 3 months. But the few things that stood out for Q & A are this:
- they were SLOOOOOOW. i went from 5th floor (w/elevator) to 3rd floor with no elevator, but i was assuming we'd be done in about 4 hours. no no. it was more like 7.
- Ian the guy who was doing all the wrapping up of my furniture was SUPER careful with my stuff. i have super heavy and/or super old funiture and there was not one scratch on any of it when i finally unpacked everything.
I ended up paying $950 for moving four blocks.
If I had nicer stuff, I would use them again. But since everything I own barely even totals the amount I paid to move, I'll be seeking cheaper movers next time.
