I received three calls from 617-778-7147 on the 27th of April at 1:09 PM. By the third I answered the call and responded with a 1 that I was interested in scheduling an appointment for a security system in my home. A man answered then and as soon as I mentioned this number is a member of the national Do Not Call Registry, he hung up on me. On the 27th of April I called the 617-778-7147 number and the only option you have is to press 1 if you wish to be taken off their list. I pressed 1 and they don't ask for your number, just tell you it will take 24 hours to be removed. Here I am on the 4th of May and I'm receiving calls from them again. This time I pressed 1 and received a young lady. When I asked to speak with a manager, she hung up.

They say they are The Home Security Center. Any company that goes to such lengths to hide who they are and won't abide by Federal FCC laws is not a company to trust. I filed a complaint with the FCC at www.fcc.gov and I suggest you do the same. Only when the FCC receives a number of complaints on the same number will they investigate and fine the company, but the fines start at $5K per provable incident and it adds up quickly.

Called my cell phone which is on the Federal Do Not Call list. Greeted with a robo-call, then put on hold for over a minute after pressing one. Spoke with some slick talking jerk claiming they got my number from a 'referral', which is a load of BS because I manage my personal information carefully. They didn't even know my name. He claimed the company was 'Home Security Center' representing ADT. I read him the riot act and made it clear I don't want any more calls from them.
