A message was left for me at my ex's house (haven't been married for 13 years) stating that there are 2 pending charges against me for fraud to social security card with a case number and to speak to someone in the legal department. Upon calling back to them this morning, I reached Constance who proceeded to tell me that she could not talk to me because my case was turned over just minutes before to have documents served to me to appear in court. She put me on hold and came back saying she had permission to discuss it with me and the charge was originally $450 and now is $5333.20 but she is only the arbitrator and could offer me a settlement of $500 RIGHT now but I had to pay it with a VISA or MC. When I began to question, she became very unprofessional and told me that it was not her problem and if I wanted to chance going to court, then good luck to me. So I said I would go to my vehicle to get my card (not intending to pay) and in the process disconnected the call. I immediately received 2 calls back to back from an Arkansas phone number and she left a nasty message saying that there was a locator in my area to serve papers to me and the only way to stop it would be to pay the amount. I work at a school and had already spoken to one of our police officers who said this is a SCAM! He even tried to call her back from my phone to talk with her and there was no answer.
