many many automated calls from all over the country re: google maps, I always hang up but they just keep calling back

Another stupid robo call. Our records show ..... and we hung up. Stupid people and stupid phone companies that keep allowing these dumb@sses to open accts so they can make stupid robo calls.

This was the epitome of a fast speaker. He said his company was afilliated with Google and that he was calling because my account had been flagged. At that point I interrupted him and told him it was not flagged. I asked him what the name of his company was. He said if you'd let me speak I'll tell you. He continues to speak but doesn't say. I ask him again. He says he will tell me. I tell him that his is not affiliated with Google and it's a scam and my account has not been flagged and I don't want these calls. Before he hangs up on me he says, "You're going to get alot more of these calls. Have a nice day." The number 619-801-8070 is untraceable. A google search only shows someone else got a similar call. My guess is that once you believe that your account has been flagged they offer their service to unflag it for some amount of money.

Called and an automated message said they were trying to claim a Google profile (although I hadn't made such a request, but I thought I'd see what they were about).
The voice recording then kept going on about the Internet (although Google was never mentioned, so I suspected they weren't really with the company).
Next, a live person came on and took my name and said "the reason we're calling today is..." then hung up.
