Andrew Hall a heavily accented man called and left a message with the statement above. I called the number back and spoke with a heavy accented Jason Dean, who asked if I had my lawyer present, and that I was being recorded and that I needed to be very specific in my answers. He never asked for any personal information but claimed I should have received a CP503-Notice in the mail that showed I owed outstanding money from a tax infringement back in 2009. I said I had not received a notice and asked that it be sent again, to which he told me that the local authorities had been notified and would be at my house within the next two hours with the information and would then arrest me at that point. I'm a mother of 2, one who happens to be an infant and I freaked out!!! I simply said thank you for the information and hung up the phone. Called a friend who looked up this info here and directed me here. What the F$$K?!?!? These people need to be stopped!!!

Threatened that legal action was being taken against me for an undisclosed reason on VM. Heavy accented individual obviously reading from a script. Took down information, googled and received these similar scam notices. Looks as though they are targeting those with outstanding loans and requesting funds to resolve specific matters. I called back to hear what was obviously a call center someone answered "department of legal affairs". I let them know this scam had been exposed and informed they needed to stop calling. I will post info here as well as with the FTC. Please do NOT give anyone access to your information or any payment over the telephone. Written communication will ALWAYS come when claims are legitimate.
