An unwanted call from this San Diego cell number arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
Since I neither know nor do business with anyone in San Diego, I conclude this was an attempted unlawful contact - a clear violation of the Do Not Call law!
