Received a call from 631-444-6823 on my landline at work at 10:58 a.m. Eastern time. I wasn't at my desk at the time, so I missed it. No message left. Checked online to see where the call originated. I don't know anyone from Stony Brook, NY. Figured it might have been a wrong number, but found others commenting on this number as a scam for credit card offer. It seems as if they might have been looking to scam me or anyone else they could.

Scammer left message about lower interest rates. Caller ID came up as "N Y Univ At" This is a new caller and a new scam but feels similar to a call I was getting last summer.
