I have been getting calls from 646-328-5056 for over a week now for my husband Scott.
Talked to someone who claimed to be Officer Joseph Woody of the Department of
Financial
Crimes Division. They gave me case #1A4545 and said that he was being investigated on
charges filed by United Cash Net for a payday loan that was deposited into his account
that he did not pay back. I told them he never got a loan through cash net and had
never
had a payday loan direct deposited into his account. The guy called me a liar so I
told
him off and hung up. When I called back I was directed to a Captain,(same guy I
talked
to before) and he told me that I could deal with their investigative team, not to call
back and good luck. I was put on hold three times during this second call and each
time
the phone was answered it was the same voice but I was given a different rank and
name.I
asked this so called captain what the date was that these funds were supposedly paid
and
he refused to or couldn't tell me. I know he was lying because I had also called my
husbands bank and confirmed that there had been no direct deposits from any loan
company
made to his account. I was also told that the phone calls were being recorded. I
told
