Got several phone calls from this company (supposedly an Arbitration firm and Ms. Hall was suppose to be a paralegal, have no idea that I am a paralegal by trade) The first conversation I had with Ms. Hall was about a month ago and then I informed her that I filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy and gave her my case # and then she replied "enjoy your bankruptcy." They were calling about a pay day loan that I had received in Dec 2010 that I was unable to pay because I got laid of Jan 2011, and it was funny because I just got off the phone today with a collection agency for the same payday loan and I told him that I filed chapter 7 bankruptcy this June and that it was included. I informed Ms. Hall of the same and they told me that my three fraud charges were not covered in bankruptcy, which I know but if their were truly fraud charges against me trust me I would know. So she proceeds to put her lead on the phone and he goes on to tell me that if I will not agree to pay them he will file the Affidavit against me and have me arrested and processed. So I asked him to give me a dollar amount he said he needed to speak to the client, I thought he was going to call me back...he put me on hold and came back and said they needed $850+ to not have me arrested and he was only giving me two days to pay. They also asked me if I had a valid driver's license I replied yes they said we will suspend that until it was paid. I told them that I would call them back on Friday when the funds needed to be paid and after being on the phone with them for more then 40 minutes I asked them what company is this again, he said the Georgia Fraud Dept. So I asked so if I call the state of GA I will get your dept., he replied you will have to be transferred to us but yes, I then asked if they could email any of the terms that I was agreeing to, they informed me no they could not do that, it was not their protocol and then he got irate told me he was filing the Affidavit of non-compliance and that I will be located and processed and then hung up the phone. I will now begin the process of a class action suit against the pay day loan company for submitting my info to 10-15 different collection companies and this "GA fraud dept." for harassment. Please be careful out here, these are desperate times for everyone. If they call me back I will record the conversation.

Lady called my husband to tell him felony charges were pending against him and they were calling having me arrested. They were calling to get his whereabouts. Funny since they didn't ask where he was and they called hi cell phone AND that a state will never call if he DID owe a private company $ (which he DOESN'T OWE ANYTHING) the state of Georgia wouldn't call!! The company would have to send the nonpayment to a collection agency! These people are stupid and obviously don't know any laws!!!!! I'm so sick of stupid people trying to scam GOOD people out of money that's hard earned!! SMH!! People, its a scam!!!

I was called stating that I had a loan from 2007 with Ace cash express. She stated that she had no idea the dollar amount because the state just wanted me served and processed so they could get more money. I was also told that I would be getting my license revoked at midnight tonight. I then asked if she had no dollar amount, what the purpose of the call was? She said I can pull paperwork and get a dollar amount if you agree to settle this out of court. I told her I WILL NOT agree to something like that. She says they have video surveillance of me going into Ace Cash Express. I swiftly informed her there is no such place within 900 miles of where I live. They are in Texas, I am in Illinois!!!
These people are SCAMMERS!! DO NOT SEND THEM MONEY!

Said she was a federal investigator and that I had taken a payday loan in 2010 that was deposited into my account and they couldn't collect the payment. Wanted 663.00 sent via Moneygram by 1 pm or I would be arrested. She called me back before 1 pm to make sure I had sent the payment, when I told her that I would not be sending any money she became very irate and hostile telling me that I would be arrested and jailed! I then informed her that I had contacted the state AG and she proceeded to yell and then hung up on me. I called back, she answered I told her it was me again and she didn't wish to speak to me and hung up again!

MS HALL CALLED MY HUSBAND STATING THEY THEY WERE PUTTING 3 ARREST WARRANTS OUT FOR ME FOR AN UNPAID PAYDAY LOAN & THAT THE WARRANTS WOULD BE CANCELLED IF I TOOK CARE OF THIS. MY HUSBAND INFORMED HER THAT WE FILED CHAPTER 7 BANKRUPTCY, WHICH WAS DISCHARGED, AND THE PAYDAY LOAN WAS INCLUDED IN THE BANKRUPTCY. SHE REFUSED TO TELL MY HUSBAND ANYTHING ELSE OTHER THAN I COMMITTED FRAUD & WILL HAVE 3 ARREST WARRANTS PUT OUT FOR ME.
