Unsolicited call. Claims to work for Tech Support of America. Caller ID # (687)354-9835; number he gave me to call back: (844)680-6653. Claims company identifies and fixes Microsoft computer viruses, malware, etc. that is secretly infecting my computer. They fix the computer. I have to be sitting in front of the computer with a pen and paper. Told him I was not giving him any info about my computer or buying anything. Said I didn't have to. Assured me my computer was infected, like he already knew. Asked for his name and a call back number, which he gave me. Lots of chatter noise in background. Sounded Indian. Found a site on line for Tech Support America with 844 phone number; also many scam complaints. Site said they do NOT make unsolicited calls, emails. Very pushy, persistent. I already knew of this scam so gave no info. Would give me no info unless I was sitting in front of computer.
