I received a recording from this number saying I was being sued by the IRS and to call back immediately. Two of my neighbors received the same call.
When you call back they probably instruct you to send money somewhere.
Don't fall for this scam. The IRS would be sending you an official letter - they never call.

The recording tells me that the IRS is filing a lawsuit against me and tells me to call them immediately at 716-406-8243. Right. If they are filing a lawsuit against me they better mail me something in the mail. I did NOT call the number back.

IRS scam. Recorded message left on my voicemail 8/25/15 says that this is my "official final notice from IRS" about a lawsuit being filed against me. Ridiculous. I got the exact same recorded message again today 8/26/15 asking me to call a different number (214-717-5386). The 214 number is from Dallas, TX and the 716 number is in Buffalo, NY. Total scam. Do not call these guys or give any info. The IRS does not do business like this.
