Just got a call from this and I agree that it's some kind of debt consolidation company. The guy was very vague and didn't want to answer any questions about who he was or what his company did. He said all he had was a name, a phone number and an amount of outstanding debt that I owed (no details). Once I told him it was all from a student loan, he stopped asking questions and ended the call. You can't do anything about student loans when it comes to debt consolidation, etc. Next time, just tell him you owe money for a student loan and they will leave you alone.
