The woman called my father's cell phone for some reason. She didn't identify who she was and then asked for me. When my father said I wasn't there at the time, she said she'd call back and hung up. I was out of the room at the time but when I came back, my father called again and I spoke to her. She asked for the last 4 digits of my social and I asked her who she was with. She got nasty, mumbled the name of the company so I wouldn't understand and told me I owed money on a cable bill. The address it was associated with was a place I NEVER even lived at. My dad did and all the bills were in his name. I let my father handle it because she got nasty and I have no patience for that. I think these debt collectors are horrible and act like they're better then you. The bill was PAID 3 yrs ago so I have no clue how this came about but if I ever find out the name of this company, I will make sure to report them to the proper authorities for the way they do business. There are laws these collectors have to follow.
