I couldnt understand the guy when he first called. The call was dropped. He left me a voicemail stating a friend of mine had misappropriated funds and used my name as a reference. As the reference, I would be held accountable. I called back and went off. I told him to NEVER EVER call my phone again or I would be contacting an attorney. He said I am liable, even though I signed nothing. He said I would be summoned to court next weeks. I called my friend and he knows nothing about it other than the same guy keeps calling him repeatedly, harrassing him.
