I've got a call from this number from a guy named Jonathan.
He works for this insurance/investment company, they want to expand and open new offices in the city where I live, he wants to know if I am interested in helping them.
So i asked for details, such as: company name, what they do and why they think I am a good fit for them. He only gave me the company name that they are a financial services company. As to the question of why he called me, he was very vague about it and when I said that his description of a job that needs to be done is too broad and asked him for specifics, he began to sound a little irritated.
I worked in fraud-prevention for too long not to smell something fishy here, after few more minutes and few more questions from me he went on to wrapping the conversation, because I asked him to send me the information by email and he said that "he does not like sending any information by email" in other words, he wont put anything in writing. Seriously :)
I know a fraud when I see one, I've seen and dealt with too many in my career. Please dont buy into what he says if he calls you.
