They asked if I wanted free system and asked that I say my name so the person they were transfering me to knew my name. Then, a couple seconds of music and a hang up.
What could they do with someones recorded name?

i redialed the number until I got an answering machine asking me to leave a message, which I did. I haven't heard anything back yet.

Maybe, it was just a system security scam and the hang up was just accidental. Let's hope there isn't an new scam with people's recorded voices, lol a patsy.
But, I've read a few site now that say they are a scam system using several numbers and techniques to get to peoples money.
