Just had a missed call on my work phone. Caller ID showed 27706 (standard 5 digit format for on-campus, which this number is invalid for on campus).
My email notification for missed call gave 8046328371
So, who the heck is spam calling me?

Last fall, I started getting multiple calls on my direct line from people (mostly with an Indian accent) asking for people who used to work for our parent company. They were incessant until I started posting on these sites about annoying calls. They stopped for a few months but have started up again in the past few days. This is the second call I've gotten from this number in the past two days asking for former employees who never worked in my department. I also reported a call from this number last November.
