If you are getting calls from that # than either you or someone you know is facing a possible law-suit and judgment/wage-garnishment. Either that or the customer has given out the wrong # for contact on purpose due to their delinquent behavior. My brother owed capital one like 6k on one acct and 3k on the other and he avoided them. they called the whole family. The only way to have your # removed is to call the # back and advise the account manager that it is incorrect and all calls must stop. A wrong # does them absolutely no good either so I'm sure they would like to know. If you know who the person is they are asking for i would definitely relay the message though. My brother thought they wanted a ridiculous amount of money so he avoided them. the 3k balance went to a law suit and after court cost and attorney fees he owed close to 5k. Before the 6k balance went to attorneys he finally called back the manager at and worked out 150 a month at 0% interest which we all didn't think was an option.

So if your getting a call from this # remember it cannot be removed if you don't call back and advise who they are calling for and what # is incorrect. and as we found their intentions are not to harass anyone by any means, but to try to keep you from a law suit judgment which will show on my brothers credit the next 10 years rather than just calling to make arrangements. They have called me over 10x in the last week and every time I have asked them not to call me. I DO NOT have a Capital One credit card. This is getting to be ridiculus

I don't have a Capital One account but this number has been calling me for a couple of days now. They leave nothing on voice mail. What could they possible want from me?
