An unwanted call from this Newbury Park cell number arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.
Posters report this is an alleged scam contractor. Whether it's home repairs, credit cards, solar energy, vacation giveaways, computer repairs, or the IRS, a scam is a scam is a scam (with apologies to a famous poet). LET YOU ANSWERING MACHINE TAKE THEIR CALLS.
