An unwanted call from this CA phone number (probably spoofed) arrived today. When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space. Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize. They have also become adept at spoofing their numbers of origin to cover their tracks to avoid law enforcement while committing criminal acts.
