They left a message that sounded like a very bad computerized voice advising me to call them directly at this number immediately. They said they were from the IRS and I had some sort of deficiency in something and it was urgent that I call them right away before legal "allegations" would happen (lol). Well, the joke's on them, first of all the IRS communicates via the postal service and secondly, rarely, if ever, does the IRS just call you out of the blue without a previous written and/or verbal communication and NEVER do they call on a holiday (it was MLK day and the IRS was closed).
