when you attempt to call back no answer

A female voice told the dangers to senior citzens such as falling and was offering a free alert system. It directed me to press one. I hung up because I do not trust a "free medical alert system" and do not feel the need for one. Do not know for sure if it was a scam, but am not taking that chance.
