First I was told by another person who does not live with me that a woman called looking for me and said if I don't call in two hours a summons would be issued for me. I decided I would call the number to investigate. They answered JE Groups and asked for a claim number which seems legit but upon talking to this woman Isa if that is her real name...She claimed they were a legal department collecting on behalf of Web Bank ( Fingerhut ) I think it's a scam here is why:
I Google mapped by street View there address they gave 778 S. Redlands Avenue # 1739 Perris, CA it shows a post office so I continued to look at the street view and it showed no JE Groups buisness in that area!
They claim my address is in Lovington New Mexico so I Google map that by street View no homes their just a bunch of businesses.
They only want Credit or Debit Cards for payment!
I checked with Fingerhut l have no account in collection and placed a case and complaint with their fraud department and also placed an alert on my credit report and this supposed collection is not on my credit report either.
I also reversed look up of this phone number it says Invalid and I also called Verizon Unlawful call number and asked them to check this number for me to and he believes it's a spoofed number! Don't confirm or give them any info just tell them to fo and tell them if you have my info send it to me in writing and hang up! You probably will not ever get it but until you get something in writing and validate the debt it's not valid.
