If you've looked up this number, you know the drill: These fake debt collectors called my cellphone and left an automated message stating that I needed to be served with papers at my residence or place of employment. When I called them back to find out more about the "plaintiff," Karen Bentley, they identified themselves as Weber Cohen Associates. I was told I owed $2000 to Bank First, which I've never heard of, let alone had an account with, for a MasterCard. They threatened me with liens, judgments, and frozen assets, then accused me of criminal intent to defraud a bank.
These people are scammers, DO NOT GIVE THEM A DIME!

Computer call. Computer called me by name and said it had papers to serve to me at home or my business. The call said California on caller ID. If someone serves you, they have to sue you locally, not in another state, so the threat is in-valid, plus there is no reason to serve me, unless it is lunch. :). Karen Bentley, shame on you.

Scam, Scam, SCAM!!!!!! Can not say it enough. We are on the do not call list, so much for that. Another government program that works so well. Nice to see and hear my tax dollars at work!!! Report her and her company to your state attorneys office. We don't even have any outstanding bills or judgements against us. So she either has the wrong number altogether or is not doing her "job" . Based on what I've looked up about the number and her name EVERYONE says the same thing. SCAM, SCAM, SCAM!!!!! At this point maybe a class action lawsuit against her is on the horizon.

I have received phone calls over the last 2 days from a Karen Bentley stating that she had papers to server to me at either my place of employment or residence. The call also stated that I should "call the Plaintiff at 844-399-9881" if I have any questions. The call shows up as unknown on the caller ID.

Automated message for someone who no longer has this number. I've called several times and have either been hung up on or told in a voice mail to leave a name and message to have my call returned. I had one person answer and then I was disconnected. I blocked the number, but then another unidentifiable number apoears on my caller ID that is 3 digits long. I have left messages stating that the person they are trying to reach doesn't have this number but get no return calls except to continue to leave the same annoying recorded message.The calls have increased since they originated to about 2-3 per day. The number is 844-399-9881.
