My call is similar to the person above....
Per caller: My brother was in a bad car accident and had asked the caller to call me. Reportedly, my brother had totalled someone's BMW. The caller was rude, speaking over me. He would not answer my questions, and insisted that I let him speak. When I asked him what city he was calling from, he became beligerent, and insisted I let him finish because he was only trying to help me. He did not provide the usual details (eg., his name, where the accident happened, he could not confirm my brother's information, etc.) When I told him that if he did not tell me what city he was calling from (by brother lives out of state) that I would not continue the call. He immediately started using profanity, and I hung up! I called my brother who was fine, and NOT in any accident.

Same experience as Bernie had - "my brother had been in an accident and was being held at gunpoint, as the callers cousin was a fugitive." Initial call was 3 weeks ago, and then another 2 calls today that I did not answer.
