Report this number to www.tigta.gov - it's illegal to represent yourself as the IRS unless you are.

Initially I did not answer the phone and they left an automated message saying it was the IRS needing to talk to me to prevent legal action. My husband called them back and got this super weird ring and automated voice then someone picked up and asked who they were talking to. My hubby stated if you are the IRS you know everything. You tell me what you want. The guy then stated that they were going to start legal action against me as I owed back taxes from 2008, 2009 and 2010. Hubby told them I would call back. I then googled the number only to find it is complete scam and BS!!!

"Brian Walker" with an Indian accent called today. Claimed he was with the IRS and was collecting a debt. Read a script about all of the charges we were going to be arrested with and wanted to know what we will do about this "right now". When we said we needed to talk to a lawyer, he claimed that we couldn't involve a third party. When we insisted, he said he was now going to send the police to pick us up. Then he hung up!
