As receptionist for my employer, I have been receiving hang-up calls from this number. I called the number and got a recording that identified the company as IBM Lender Services. I discovered on the Internet that they are not only a collection agency, but a mortgage company that has acquired some Metlife mortagage accounts. I don't know if they are trying to reach an employee here who had a Metlife mortgage account that was transferred to them, but I don't understand why they just hang up instead of asking for a person by name. It seems many other people (according to posts on the Internet) have been receiving calls from IBM Lender Services at work. They may have a valid reason for calling, but it seems so unprofessional to be calling people at work for personal matters, and especially when they just hang up when someone answers. This constitutes harassment, especially when they call EVERY single day!
