Got a call from Miranda 866-676-2418 and they left a message with a 'docket number' and saying I would be served with papers at my home or work. I called and tt 'Miranda' and basically told her she was full of crap and it is against the law to conduct business like they said they would. I told her I know I have no outstanding bills because I am in a chap 13 and I offered my atty name and number and she hung up on me. So, I called back and got her 'supervisor' and she told me 'Miranda' doesnt make outgoing calls and that the courthouse in my county probably called me........Which I said.....courthouses do not call and threaten to show up and home and work and I knew her 'business' was a scam. She refused to take my atty info and hung up on me. I tried to call back and they must have blocked my number because it will not ring through. If you come back at these people they will back down, especially when you tell them to call your atty. I also told them Id love to meet them.....bet they dont! All scare tactics here!

He said his name was "Messier" Tom Shepherd and that he was calling about a summons and would be out to my work or home within several hours and that I needed to have ID ready. Talked really fast and was hard to get the number he said was 866-676-2418. The number came up unknown on my caller id

The caller said that my SS# and my name (my previous married name). She said that it was a courtisy call and that I would be getting a summons at my house and my work. Told me to have my ID ready. She spoke so fast that it was very hard to get the call back number, but on caller ID it said : NO CALLER ID. It was very odd that they used my previous name, since I didn't get my number until after my name was changed.

The call came prior to 8:00 AM, they asked for my daughter by her pre-married name. Stated there were criminal charges she was being investigated for. "Investigator" Stacy said she had to hear from her within 2 hours to avoid prosecution. Gave the phone number. When called back it was a recording saying leave your information or press one, when you press 1 you get another recording asking you to leave your info again.... DON'T.

This woman left a message on my phone today (apparently thinking I was a "Venita") saying she was a private investigator and informing "Venita" that she had 2 charges filed against her in Travis County (where my phone # is based) and needed to call this 866-676-2418 to arrange a meeting at "Venita" place of employment on file or residence and to not "contact" the person who filed the charges without calling her first. Scary.
